Dear Corbin,
I'm glad you are well.
I understand it is difficult telling people stuff over pen and paper but I really do need to know why you need this information.
However if you insist your reasoning is too precious to tell me over letters, what if we met up? I really would like to know the true reason for requesting me to put my job on the line.
Anyway, since I last wrote I have good news. I was chosen as one of the detectives to help for Wadsworths case.
Well I wasn't originally but the original detective has gone on unexpected maternity leave, I hope both her and her baby end up okay.
Since I last wrote, I acquired more information. Wadsworths wife -her name as it turns out is Genevieve- has been married to Elliot for 9 years.
She explained how on the night before he left he recieved a letter. Unfortunately she never saw the contents of said letter. We still haven't been able to track the letters location.
As I'm sure you guessed by now, but in the three weeks I haven't replied we have visited the crime scene.
It's weird calling their hours a crime scene.
I must admit there's something off about this case.

I have a horrible nagging feeling something will go horribly wrong, like there's some kind of foul play at hand. I just can't shake the feeling that we won't find an end to this case.
I'm rambling again, I apologise.

I'll have more information next time, I simply do not have the time to write more.

I send my regards Corbin.
Yours sincerely.
